Six of Swords Description
A woman crosses the sea of knowledge by putting one sword ahead of another, using them as a bridge in determining her steps (thinking) and transitions.
She carries a large candle to be delivered to the end of the island where the old candle has died and disappeared. It is her job to safely escort the new candle to keep the night still bright and awakened.
The candle symbolizes ideas and the fruit of thoughts, like a guiding lighthouse in the middle of the ocean.
NOTE: The Tarot card meaning description is based on the Rider Waite cards.
Tridevia Tarot Deck is designed with 156 beautifully crafted positive affirmations in our guidebook ,uniquely aligned to both upright and reversed meanings of each card, to not only guide your readings but also help you manifest your dreams and awaken the divine Goddess within you.
Upright Six of Swords Meaning
You are transitioning, changing, evolving. That can mean some drastic changes in some aspects of your life. Do not dwell on the past and welcome the unknown - as that’s where the magic happens. Be ready to abandon what’s not serving you anymore, even though it may be difficult, as it’s something familiar to you. Open yourself to a new future and look only forward.
Affirmation
I let go of the past, welcoming the future.
Reversed Six of Swords Meaning
You resist change and stepping out of your comfort zone. Clinging on to what’s familiar won’t get you new perspectives, so embracing new patterns is beneficial to you in the long term. Change might feel uncomfortable right now but believe that it will be worth it. Trust the process of adjusting to your new circumstances and soon enough you will see why the change was imminent.
Affirmation
I release my resistance to change.
